喬宏（演“女人四十”中蕭芳芳的家翁）還未去世之前，曾與他在吉隆坡有一段訪問，訪問的內容有關于他對生命和宗教，以及電影的看法。
讓我最深刻的其中一段內容，是他告訴我看事情的角度；當時，我和他面對面訪問，他說，看事情必須要有多個角度，就好像我對著他時，我看得到他背后的一切，若他自己不愿轉頭一瞥，就不會知道背后有什麼，和發生什麼事情。
這一段話一直讓我銘記至今，我一直警戒自己，要多方面去瞭解一個人或一件事情，僅是從自己所知道，或是所看見和聽見的來衡量，未必做準。
許多事情都是這樣，個人的主觀想法往往限制了自己的視野，沒有從多角度去看，就仿彿是瞎子摸像，摸到什麼就以為是什麼。
但是，人總是對自己所學所看到的充滿信心，以為這些就是衡量事情的標準，任何對與錯之間，都在于一己之念，幾乎是每一個人都會有對事情的盲點，但又會有多少個人願意去多角度看事情呢？
